How I met Hurriya:

Growing up in a small town of Vernon, CT after moving from Pakistan in the early 90's, I never found a strong connection with Pakistani/Desi girls in the area. That changed in 2023 when I met Hurriya at a coffee shop in South Windsor. Her beauty and down-to-earth personality immediately intrigued me. We had briefly crossed paths a decade earlier during a difficult time, but it wasn't until last summer that we reconnected through social media and began spending time together.

As we hung out more frequently, I found myself increasingly attracted to Hurriya. I helped her with small tasks and gave hints about my interest, always prioritizing respect and allowing our relationship to develop organically. I prayed for guidance, hoping she might be the one. By the end of 2023, our friendship had deepened, and we started seeing each other more often.

On Valentine's Day 2024, I gave Hurriya a thoughtful gift despite our shared disdain for the holiday. Her emotional response was a turning point, as she agreed to be more than friends. Today, we are closer than ever, and I have proposed to her as my life partner. I'm grateful for the higher power that guided me towards her, and I'm committed to being the best husband, caretaker, and partner I can be. It is remarkable that the love of my life was in my town all along, and our paths finally aligned at the perfect moment, Alhumdulliah.

How I met Zeeshan:

Growing up in Pakistan with a traditional mindset, I always believed that my ultimate destiny was to become a wife and mother. When I moved to America, I was struck by the casual dating culture and the transactional nature of relationships. Despite my aspirations to be loved unconditionally, I spent 17 years feeling alone and questioning whether I was destined to navigate life by myself. My prayers reflected my deep yearning for a true connection and guidance during my periods of sadness.

Then, one day, I met Zeeshan. I recall our initial encounter in a group setting where he quietly observed, his gentle smile and calm demeanor drawing me in. Although we didn't speak much then, his presence left a lasting impression. I knew I wanted to get to know him on a deeper level. A month and a half later, I stumbled upon his Instagram profile and decided to reach out. Yes I slid into his DM! Our friendship quickly blossomed into something special as we explored restaurants, went on long drives, and supported each other through various challenges, from dealing with pests to personal crises.

Zeeshan’s unwavering support, respect and kind nature made it clear that he was the person I had been waiting for. Whether it was helping me through stressful times or simply being there when I needed him, his actions spoke volumes. I now realize that he embodies everything I prayed for and more. With deep gratitude for the trials that led me to him, I look forward to marrying Zeeshan and building a future together. He is not just my love but the best version of myself, and I am excited to spend my life with him, raising a family and growing old together.
